I'm finally catching up on videos from this summer, and when I was going through the files I found one I had missed over the winter, Trooper and the Hair Dryer. Then we have one of Trooper fishing, and one of his 'Garbage Truck Birthday'. We call it his fourth birthday, but I guess since it's his day he can decide what to name it. They're super cute, and sometimes funny. Certainly worth your time to give them a click! If you haven't subscribed to this blog, yet, please do, here.
This video is from one month ago, and I'm amazed as I look back on it because Trooper's speech has improved so much since then. I was trying to get a video of him getting on the swing by himself, but instead it ended up being a strange conversation about hair and falling. He wanted to know why I would cry if he fell on his head. The clip is short, so go ahead, check it out.

My aunt just shared this FB page with me, and it's really cool. They're trying to get pictures of 'vanilla' dads doing the hair of their 'chocolate' kids for Father's Day, so if this is you, please participate. If we were going to do it, we'd have to stage the picture because I always do the hair. Ah, well. They also have REALLY cool hair styles with tutorials if you're interested in doing something unusual with your children's hair, no matter what texture of hair they have. The page is called Chocolate Hair/Vanilla Care. Click it to check it out.

I got a handy hair tip from a friend who used to have dreads. Now I can do Trooper's hair in 2.5 to 3 hours instead of 4, woohoo! Now if I could just keep him from running through the sprinkler without his shower cap, it would stay nice.
I'll be posting a lot more videos next week, but for now, enjoy this video of Trooper's hair and the other new posts.
